Recognise anaphylaxis and respond immediately

By the end of the course, delegates will:

  • Recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis
  • Identify common allergens and other triggers
  • Know the five steps of immediate action
  • Correctly position a person experiencing anaphylaxis
  • Safely administer an EpiPen auto-injector
  • Safely administer a Jext auto-injector
  • Understand when and how to give a second dose
  • Understand post-event observation and biphasic reaction risk
  • Know relevant legislation and care plan requirements
