Recognise anaphylaxis and respond immediately
By the end of the course, delegates will:
- Recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis
- Identify common allergens and other triggers
- Know the five steps of immediate action
- Correctly position a person experiencing anaphylaxis
- Safely administer an EpiPen auto-injector
- Safely administer a Jext auto-injector
- Understand when and how to give a second dose
- Understand post-event observation and biphasic reaction risk
- Know relevant legislation and care plan requirements
