Training for education settings

What training does a school or nursery team need?

Every setting needs staff who can respond to an emergency and spot when a child is at risk. Many also want a better understanding of neurodiversity and mental health. In addition, special schools often need care skills.

Education settings

Training for every kind of setting

Each stage of education brings its own priorities.

Nurseries and early years

Paediatric First Aid covers first aid for babies and children. Food Safety and Infection Control also suit nursery settings.

Primary and secondary schools

Staff need to spot the signs of harm and support pupils’ mental health. Safeguarding Children, ADHD Awareness and Self Harm & Suicide Prevention are good places to start.

Special schools and SEN settings

Pupils with complex needs may need PEG feeding, moving and handling or behaviour support. Our clinical and behaviour courses bring those skills to your staff.

Colleges

Older students still need staff who can recognise harm and respond in an emergency. Emergency first aid and mental health courses suit college teams.

Defibrillator training packages

We can supply the defibrillator and the training together as one complete package.

Training for the whole staff team includes Fire Marshal, Safer Recruitment, Stress at Work and Wellbeing.
