DoLS Update

DoLS update training brings care staff and registered managers up to date with the Supreme Court’s ruling of 2 June 2026, which replaced the test for deprivation of liberty used since 2014, and what it means for consent, best interests decisions, restrictions and DoLS in your service. Delivered on-site by our experienced trainers.

How long is the DoLS Update course?

It runs as a half day – 3 hours course, delivered in one visit unless stated otherwise.

How many delegates can attend?

Up to 15 delegates per session.

Do delegates receive a certificate?

Yes — every delegate receives a certificate on completion. We recommend refreshing every two years.
