The role
This is a field-based, freelance role delivering face-to-face training at our clients’ care services. We provide the training content and course materials, so you can focus on delivering it well.
The role involves travel to different client sites. Some overnight stays may be needed, but we keep these to a minimum and give as much notice as we can.

Subjects
We regularly take on trainers across all of our subject areas. If your specialism is here, we’d like to hear from you.
Not sure if your subject fits? Get in touch and ask.

Location
We work with clients across the UK and welcome trainers from all regions. Wherever you’re based, there may be work near you. Tell us the area you can cover when you apply, and we’ll match you to work close to home where we can.

Requirements
A recognised training qualification and the ability to travel are essential. Care sector experience is a real advantage.

How to apply
Applying is straightforward. Here’s what to expect.
Email your CV to gemma@orchardrock.com, or apply online using our form. Tell us your subjects and the area you can cover.
We look at your experience and qualifications and get back to you.
An informal interview and chat over Zoom about the role, your subjects and your availability.
You’ll attend a session to see how we deliver. The shadow session is unpaid, but if you take part you’ll gain the certification for that course, so it counts towards your CPD.
If it’s a good fit, you’ll sign our contractor service level agreement and a non-disclosure agreement.
Once you’re set up, we send your onboarding pack and daily procedures, and support you as you start delivering.
Send your CV to gemma@orchardrock.com or apply online using our form. Prefer to talk it through first? Give us a call.
