Nephrostomy

Nephrostomy training helps your team provide effective clinical care for people with a nephrostomy. Delivered on-site by our experienced clinical trainers, with practical work wherever the subject allows.

Half day — 3 hours Delivered on-site Clinical practical skills

Why this training matters

A nephrostomy drains urine directly from the kidney, and because urine backed up in a blocked kidney can become infected, careful, competent care is essential to prevent the person becoming seriously unwell.
