Understand neurodivergence and make adjustments that work

By the end of the course, delegates will:

  • Use the language of neurodiversity accurately and respectfully
  • Describe autism in the two domains current practice uses
  • Explain masking, meltdown, shutdown and autistic burnout
  • Recognise how ADHD affects attention, time and emotion
  • Identify dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia at work
  • Know that co-occurrence is normal, and support the person
  • Describe strengths honestly, without stereotyping
  • Explain when neurodivergence is a disability in law
  • Distinguish the service duty from the employment duty
  • Make, record and review practical adjustments

All of our training is delivered on-site at your service, anywhere in the UK — we come to you, so there are no travel costs or venue hire for your team.

How long is the Neurodiversity course?

It runs as a half day – 3 hours course, delivered in one visit unless stated otherwise.

Up to 15 delegates per session.

Do delegates receive a certificate?

Yes — every delegate receives a certificate on completion. We recommend refreshing every year.
