By the end of the course, delegates will:
- Recognises the signs and symptoms of ADHD in children and adults
- Understands the three ADHD subtypes and current terminology
- Knows the causes and risk factors associated with ADHD
- Applies practical strategies to support adults and children with ADHD
- Understands the NICE stepped-care approach to treatment
- Knows the common ADHD medications, their side effects and key safety points
- Understands legal duties under the Equality Act 2010 and SEND framework
- Knows how to support someone while they wait for diagnosis or assessment

Yes — every delegate receives a certificate on completion. Certificates are valid for 2 years, so plan refresher training before they expire.
