Move people and objects safely, every time
This course gives your team the technique and confidence to move people and loads without injury — to themselves or the people they care for. Theory covers the law, the spine and ergonomics; the practical assessments cover everything from moving objects to hoisting. By the end of the course, delegates will:

- Understand the necessity for trained practice

- Understand your responsibilities and the responsibilities of your employer

- Know techniques for assisted walking and sitting to standing

- Know how to move a person in bed and apply a slide sheet
- Understand the safety checks to be performed before hoisting
- Know how to use a hoist and sling safely
- Understand how to safely use other mobility assistance equipment
