Understand workplace culture and promote inclusion

By the end of the course, delegates will:

  • Understand what shapes workplace culture and the three levels on which it operates
  • Recognise the difference between person-centred and task-focused practice
  • Know the nine protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010
  • Understand CQC’s expectations around equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Apply the HSE Management Standards and NICE guidance on staff wellbeing
  • Understand agreed ways of working, accountability and duty of candour
  • Know the features of effective leadership and successful teamwork
  • Apply practical strategies for clear communication and managing change
