Training for charities

What training does a charity or community team need?

Charities and community groups often support people who may be vulnerable, so safeguarding usually comes first. Many teams also need the confidence to support someone in crisis, keep a venue safe and work alone in the community.

Charities and community

Training for the way community organisations work

Community work often happens face to face, in shared spaces and with people who need support.

Supporting people who may be vulnerable

Your team may be the first to notice that something is wrong. Safeguarding training helps them recognise the signs and report concerns properly.

Venues open to the public

Community centres, halls and clubs need people who are ready to act in an emergency. First aid and fire marshal training give your team that confidence.

Community sports and activity clubs

Clubs that work with children need staff who can keep them safe. Safeguarding Children and Paediatric First Aid both suit sports and activity clubs.
